RAWALPINDI, Aug 02 (APP):A training and awareness session on the implementation and effective utilisation of the Housing Schemes Management System (HSMS) was held on Sunday at the District Council Hall, Rawalpindi, to familiarise stakeholders with the digital platform for regulating private housing schemes.
The session was chaired by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi, the Additional Director of the Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA), and PULSE specialists, who delivered detailed presentations and practical guidance on the implementation, operation and effective use of the system.
Participants were briefed on the objectives of the HSMS, its operational framework, and procedures for the online submission, processing and management of applications relating to private housing schemes. The experts also responded to participants’ queries and explained the system’s key features, highlighting its role in ensuring transparency, efficiency, accountability and timely disposal of applications.
The speakers said the implementation of the HSMS marked an important step towards digital governance and institutional reforms in the housing sector. They said the system had been designed to streamline regulatory processes, strengthen coordination among relevant departments, minimise manual intervention and facilitate applicants through an efficient, transparent and user-friendly online platform.
Participants appreciated the initiative and expressed their commitment to supporting the effective implementation of the HSMS to improve service delivery, strengthen regulatory compliance and enhance transparency in the approval process for private housing schemes.
The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment, during which participants shared feedback and sought clarification on various operational aspects of the system.
