RAWALPINDI, Aug 01 (APP):Civil Lines police on Saturday dismantled an illegal narcotics ring by arresting a previously convicted drug supplier along with two accomplices, confiscating 10.74 kilograms of hashish and 80 grams of Ice intended for distribution across educational institutions and residential areas.
During the investigation, police recovered six kilograms of hashish and 80 grams of Ice from the primary suspect during an initial raid, while follow-up operations against his distribution network yielded an additional 4.74 kilograms of hashish from two associated dealers, the Rawalpindi Police spokesperson said in a press release.
The anti-narcotics operation was conducted under the directives of CPO Syed Hassnain Haider in the Civil Lines police jurisdiction on Saturday, resulting in separate legal cases registered against all three detainees.
