NAB DG hears public complaints, orders prompt redressal

Lahore National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Director General Mirza Faran Baig on Friday chaired the bureau’s monthly open court, where he heard public complaints and directed the relevant officials to ensure their prompt resolution.

LAHORE, Jul 31 (APP):Lahore National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Director General Mirza Faran Baig on Friday chaired the bureau’s monthly open court, where he heard public complaints and directed the relevant officials to ensure their prompt resolution.
According to a NAB Lahore spokesperson, around 1,200 people attended the open court, with the majority comprising affectees of fraudulent housing schemes and cheating scams.
More than 350 affectees of Al-Jalil Garden and Al-Noor Orchard participated in the hearing and were briefed on the latest developments in their cases. The DG informed them about the ongoing legal proceedings and the efforts being made to provide relief in accordance with the law at the earliest.
The spokesperson said most of the complaints received during the open court related to Sarmayadari, Prime Zone, Future Vision, Mid City, Khayaban-e-Amin, Palm Vista, Gutt Wala Faisalabad, Omega Residencia, Metro City, Shadman Enclave, Century Venture-I, Elite Town, New Lahore City and Pak-Arab Housing Scheme.
The affectees appreciated the efforts of NAB Lahore and expressed confidence in the bureau’s measures to pursue their cases and safeguard the interests of victims.
Speaking on the occasion, Mirza Faran Baig reiterated that NAB remained committed to combating corruption and protecting the public from fraud. He said those involved in corruption and public deception would continue to face strict legal action in line with the vision of the Chairman NAB.
