RAWALPINDI, Jul 30 (APP):The district administration held a joint review meeting on Thursday to finalize plans for Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir (August 5) and Independence Day (August 14) celebrations.
Co-chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Maleeha Sahar and Additional Deputy Commissioner (Headquarters) Abdul Rehman Khan, the meeting was attended by the CEO Education, Director Colleges, Principal Viqar-un-Nisa College, and representatives from the Punjab Horticulture Authority (PHA) and “Suthra Punjab.”
Officials finalized arrangements for rallies, seminars, speech contests, and photo exhibitions on August 5 to express solidarity with the people of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir.
For August 14, the chair directed departments to complete preparations within set timeliness for flag-hoisting ceremonies, plantation drives, illumination of public buildings, national song competitions, and security protocols.
