As part of efforts Deputy Commissioner Jamshed Khan chaired a meeting to review preparedness for the ongoing monsoon season and potential flood emergencies.
The meeting was attended by officials from all relevant departments, who presented detailed briefings on emergency response plans, flood management, drainage arrangements, rescue operations, availability of machinery, and inter-departmental coordination.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner directed all concerned departments to remain on high alert and ensure that machinery, manpower, and emergency resources are fully operational and readily available.
He also instructed officials to maintain continuous monitoring of flood-prone and vulnerable areas and to respond swiftly and effectively to any emergency situation.
Jamshed Khan stressed the importance of close coordination among all departments to minimize risks and ensure timely relief efforts in the event of heavy rainfall or flooding.
The district administration reiterated that it is fully prepared to tackle any monsoon-related emergency and remains committed to safeguarding the lives and property of residents through prompt response and coordinated action.
