QUETTA, Jul 29 (APP):Deputy Commissioner (DC) Usta Muhammad, Muhammad Ramzan Palal on Wednesday chaired a meeting to review preparation of celebration of August 5, Kashmir Exploitation Day and Independent Day, August 14.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ismail Lashari, Abdul Hameed Mengal of the Education Department, Medical Superintendent and other relevant officers participated.
In the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding the celebration of August 5, Kashmir Exploitation Day and August 14, Pakistan Independence Day in a dignified manner.
On this occasion, the responsibilities of all the relevant departments were also clearly defined so that the celebrations could be organized in an organized and effective manner.
Addressing the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ramzan Palal said that on the occasion of Kashmir Exploitation Day on August 5, a rally would be taken out to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people and highlight their struggle for freedom.
He further informed that the program of the Independence Day celebrations on August 14 has been finalized, according to which the flag hoisting ceremony would be held at 8:30 am while the regular celebrations could begin at 9:00 am.
He said that on this occasion, speeches would be made on the struggle and sacrifices of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah so that the new generation could be made aware of the importance of the establishment of Pakistan and its historical background.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the officers of the Education Department to organize grand celebrations at the level of colleges and schools.
The Sports Officer was directed to ensure that sports activities are organized throughout the week so that healthy activities could be promoted among the youth.
Furthermore, all district heads were directed to decorate government offices beautifully so that the national spirit and enthusiasm on the occasion of Independence Day is evident.
The Deputy Commissioner instructed the Medical Superintendent to ensure the presence of doctors and paramedical staff on the occasion of August 14 and during other events, while the police were also directed to make effective security arrangements for all programs.
The Chief Officer Municipal Corporation was directed that the main events of August 14 would be held in Faisal Park, so the cleaning of the park and all other necessary arrangements should be completed in time.
Finally, Deputy Commissioner Usta Muhammad Muhammad Ramzan Palal said that Pakistan has been achieved after immense sacrifices, so it is the responsibility of all officers to raise awareness among the public and involve them in these national celebrations in a full manner, so that the spirit of patriotism could be further strengthened.
