Pakistani rice exporters secure purchase intentions with Chinese companies at B2B matchmaking event

BEIJING, July 29 (APP): A China-Pakistan grains B2B matchmaking session held in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China brought together 15 leading Pakistani rice exporters and Chinese agricultural companies, with participating enterprises signing purchase order letters of intent and reaching preliminary cooperation understandings.

The event was jointly hosted by the Consulate General of Pakistan in Guangzhou and Guangzhou International Cooperation Center (GICC). A 17-member delegation from the Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (REAP), representing 15 major rice exporters, attended the session, which gathered representatives from Guangdong-based companies in agricultural processing, grain and oil trading, agricultural technology, agricultural machinery manufacturing, cross-border e-commerce and supply chain services, CEN reported on Wednesday.

During the matchmaking session, Pakistani and Chinese companies held discussions on grain procurement prices, quality inspection standards, cross-border logistics, settlement arrangements, long-term supply cooperation and private-label processing.

Several Guangdong enterprises and Pakistani delegation members signed purchase order letters of intent at the event, marking concrete progress in trade cooperation. The meeting also helped companies establish direct communication channels for future cooperation.

Representatives from the Pakistani delegation introduced the country’s grain production capacity, export structure and rice supply capabilities, while member companies presented their product categories, supply volumes and logistics solutions to potential Chinese partners.

According to the GICC, the event provided a platform for Chinese and Pakistani enterprises to explore cooperation opportunities in the grain sector and strengthen trade links between Pakistani agricultural exporters and Guangdong’s agricultural and supply chain industries.
