Governor Sindh Visits Matiari, Meets Public and Offers Condolences

HYDERABAD, Jul 29 (APP):Governor Sindh Syed Nihal Hashmi on Wednesday visited Matiari district, where he met local residents, community elders and political and social figures at various locations. During the visit, he listened to public grievances and assured them of every possible support in resolving their issues.
The Governor reached Bhanot and visited the residence of Shah Zaman Shah, where he was warmly welcomed by local residents. On the occasion, community elders presented him with the traditional Sindhi Ajrak and Sindhi cap as a mark of respect.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor Hashmi said the teachings of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai conveyed the message of love, brotherhood, tolerance, humanity and service to mankind. He said the teachings of Bhittai and other sufi saints promoted peace, unity and harmony in society.
Later, the Governor visited New Saeedabad, where he offered condolences on the demise of the wife of Rao Aslam. He offered Fateha for the departed soul and expressed heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family.
The Governor then arrived at Mashallah House in Hala, where he was warmly received by local residents, community elders and Naseer Memon.
Talking to the media, Nihal Hashmi said that a strong and prosperous society could only be built on tolerance, mutual respect and the rule of law.
He said that Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had laid a strong foundation for the country’s development by establishing motorways, grid stations, airports and other major infrastructure projects.
He added that Nawaz Sharif had always promoted politics based on principles, public service and development.
He urged the younger leaders to learn from his example of serving the people while remaining committed to principles.
