FAISALABAD, Jul 29 (APP):Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry

conducted a detailed inspection of FDA One Window Counter to review the facilities

being provided to citizens, the processing of applications, and the overall service

delivery mechanism.

FDA Chief Engineer Mehr Ayub and other relevant officers accompanied him during

the visit.

On the occasion, the Director General met with applicants present at the One Window

Counter and directly sought their feedback regarding the quality of services, timely

registration of applications, staff guidance, professional conduct, and resolution of

their issues.

He listened carefully to the citizens’ opinions and suggestions and directed the concerned

officers to accord top priority to the prompt redressal of public complaints and timely

disposal of applications.

Muhammad Asif Chaudhry said that the effective implementation of the FDA’s Open

Door Policy aims to ensure uninterrupted, transparent, and prompt delivery of services

to the public.

He instructed officers and staff to treat every applicant with courtesy, responsibility,

and professionalism so as to further strengthen public confidence in the institution.

He further directed that the One Window Counter system should be aligned with modern

administrative requirements by making full use of e-filing, paperless working, office

automation, and advanced information technology.

He also directed the departments to process applications received through the “eBiz Punjab”

platform on a priority basis to effectively achieve the Government of Punjab’s business

facilitation vision.

The DG said that the promotion of digital systems would not only enhance transparency,

efficiency and the speed of service delivery but would also enable effective monitoring,

timely disposal of applications, and improved public services.

He further directed that the performance of the One Window Counter be reviewed regularly,

staff capacity-building initiatives continue through regular training and further reforms be

introduced to improve the quality of service delivery.

DG Muhammad Asif Chaudhry emphasized that in line with the vision of Punjab government,

all available resources would be utilized to transform the FDA into a modern, transparent,

citizen-friendly and fully digital institution, ensuring that citizens receive fast, efficient,

and high-quality services under one roof.
