Senior officers intensify oversight as Islamabad Police recruitment enters second day
ISLAMABAD, Jul 29 (APP):Senior officers of Islamabad Police intensified monitoring of the ongoing recruitment process as physical endurance and running tests entered the second day at multiple test centres, directing officials to ensure merit, transparency, effective security arrangements and maximum facilitation for candidates.
An ICT Police spokesperson told APP on Wednesday that, on the directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, senior officers were personally supervising recruitment activities at test centres across the country to ensure every stage was conducted in a fair, transparent and well-organised manner.
The spokesperson said DG Safe City/DIG Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joiya visited the Police Lines Headquarters recruitment centre, where he reviewed the physical and running tests, security arrangements and overall administrative measures. He directed the staff to provide the best possible facilities to candidates, treat them courteously and ensure continuous monitoring of the recruitment process.
DIG Headquarters Muhammad Ateeq Tahir and DIG Security Rana Umar Farooq visited the F-9 recruitment centre to inspect the physical endurance and running tests, security arrangements and overall management. They directed the officers concerned to complete every stage of the recruitment process in accordance with the prescribed procedures while upholding merit and transparency.
Meanwhile, DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq visited the Police Lines Headquarters recruitment centre, where he reviewed the administrative arrangements and instructed officers to ensure that all stages of the recruitment process, including the physical endurance tests, were conducted strictly on merit and with complete transparency.
SSP Security/Operations Suleman Zafar monitored the ongoing physical endurance and running tests, security arrangements and overall management at the Peshawar recruitment centre to ensure the smooth conduct of the recruitment exercise.
The physical endurance and running tests continued simultaneously at the F-9 and Police Lines Headquarters recruitment centres in Islamabad as well as other designated centres under the close supervision of senior officers.
The spokesperson said Islamabad Police remained committed to recruiting the most capable candidates through a transparent, merit-based and professionally managed selection process.
