The prices of gold witnessed a decline in the local market on Wednesday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola falling by Rs1,000 to settle at Rs426,436, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Gold prices fall by Rs1,000 per tola

ISLAMABAD, Jul 29 (APP):The prices of gold witnessed a decline in the local market on Wednesday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola falling by Rs1,000 to settle at Rs426,436, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs857 to Rs365,600, whereas 10 grams of 22-karat gold dropped by Rs786 to Rs335,145.
In the international market, the price of gold declined by $10 to $4,040 per ounce, the association reported.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs68 to Rs6,291, while the price of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs58 to Rs5,393.
The price of silver in the international market also increased by $0.68 to $58.12 per ounce, the association added.
