Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi on Tuesday visited the recruitment test centres established for induction into Islamabad Police and reviewed the arrangements, directing officers to ensure that every stage of the recruitment process is conducted strictly on merit, with complete transparency and in accordance with the prescribed rules and procedures.

ISLAMABAD, Jul 28 (APP):Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi on Tuesday visited the recruitment test centres established for induction into Islamabad Police and reviewed the arrangements, directing officers to ensure that every stage of the recruitment process is conducted strictly on merit, with complete transparency and in accordance with the prescribed rules and procedures.
An ICT Police spokesperson told APP that the IGP Rizvi inspected the ongoing physical measurement and running tests, where candidates’ physical fitness was being assessed under a well-organized and standardized mechanism to ensure a fair and transparent selection process.
During the visit, Rizvi instructed the officers concerned to maintain merit, transparency and professionalism throughout the recruitment exercise so that the selection process remained fair, impartial and well-organized at every level.
Meanwhile, DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq and DIG Security, Rana Umar Farooq also visited the recruitment test centre and reviewed the arrangements in detail.
The two senior officers directed the officials concerned to ensure that every stage of the recruitment process was completed in accordance with the prescribed rules and procedures, while upholding the principles of merit, transparency and equal opportunity for all candidates.
They reiterated that Islamabad Police remained committed to recruiting competent, professional and dedicated personnel through a fair, transparent and merit-based selection process.
