In a bid to curb gas theft and illegal activities, the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) UFG (Unaccounted for Gas) control task force has intensified its operations and disconnected five more gas meters in various areas of the city.
SNGPL task force disconnects five gas meters

MULTAN, Jul 26 (APP): In a bid to curb gas theft and illegal activities, the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) UFG (Unaccounted for Gas) control task force has intensified its operations and disconnected five more gas meters in various areas of the city.
The team said that one meter which was illegally removed by a consumer was successfully recovered. Meanwhile, four other meters were also disconnected by the team for the illegal use of compressors to extract gas.
During the crackdown, the SNGPL task force carried out door-to-door checking of 60 consumers to detect anomalies and ensure compliance with safety standards.
An official stated that these measures were part of the company’s strict commitment to combating gas theft and ensuring a high-quality, uninterrupted gas supply for all legal consumers.
