BALAKOT, Jul 26 (APP): At least 21 employees of Punjab University were injured when a university bus plunged into a deep ravine at Dumgala while returning from the tourist resort of Naran on Saturday, according to a spokesperson.
The bus reportedly lost control at the Dumgala area and fell into a ravine, leaving all 21 occupants injured. Rescue teams and local residents rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.
The injured were identified as Nadeem Suleman, Syed Waqar Ali, Junaid, Muhammad Irfan, Furqan, Younis, Shakeel Ahmed, Muhammad Arshad, Muhammad Riaz, Shaukat, Adnan, Hafiz Rashid, Abdul Jabbar, Nazir Rashid, Tanveer Hussain, Muhammad Anwar, Muhammad Siddique, Nauman Ali, Muhammad Ishaq, Nadeem, and Faiz.
Hospital sources said the injured were receiving treatment, while authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident. Further details are awaited.
