Freedom Front downs two Taliban military drones in Badakhshan’s Zebak district
ISLAMABAD, Jul 25 (APP):The Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF) has shot down two Taliban military drones in the Zebak district of Badakhshan province.
According to a statement by the group, the Taliban drones were conducting operations inside territories controlled by the Freedom Front.
The group said that the Taliban had recently attempted a large-scale advance in the Zebak district, but their push was successfully foiled due to organized and strong resistance by Freedom Front fighters.
The Freedom Front further stated that Taliban forces suffered both human and military losses during the intense clashes.
Additionally, the group said they have prevented Taliban reinforcement helicopters from landing in the area by opening heavy fire, forcing the helicopters to retreat without disembarking personnel or supplies.
Resistance operations against Taliban actions in Zebak district remain ongoing, the Freedom Front added.
