ISLAMABAD, Jul 24 (APP):Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Headquarters Muhammad Ateeq Tahir chaired an important coordination meeting to review arrangements for the ongoing Islamabad Police recruitment process, emphasizing transparency, merit and timely completion of all stages.
A police official told APP on Friday that senior officers of Islamabad Police and the National Police Foundation attended the meeting and discussed various aspects of the recruitment process.
The meeting reviewed different phases of recruitment, administrative and operational matters, facilities for candidates, inter-agency coordination and measures to further improve the efficiency of the recruitment system.
Tahir directed the officers concerned to ensure that the entire recruitment process is completed in a transparent, merit-based and professional manner in accordance with the prescribed rules and regulations.
He also stressed the importance of providing candidates with the best possible facilities and a well-organized environment at every stage of the recruitment process to ensure fairness, convenience and smooth conduct of the exercise./
