DPM/FM Dar to attend SCO CFM meeting in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyz Republic on July 23-24

ISLAMABAD, Jul 23 (APP): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, at the invitation of the Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Zheenbek Kulubaev, will lead the Pakistan delegation to the meeting of SCO Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM), to be held in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyz Republic on 23-24 July 2026.
The Foreign Ministers of all SCO member states, including Pakistan, China, Belarus, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will participate in the CFM meeting. The CFM is the third highest forum in the SCO format. It focuses on the issues of international relations, as well as the foreign and security policies of SCO, a press statement issued by the foreign office spokesperson on Thursday said.
During his visit, Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister will also call on the President of Kyrgyz Republic; and hold many bilateral meetings with his counterparts from SCO member states on the sidelines of the CFM meeting.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar departed after the conclusion of his successful visit to Manila for the 33rd ARF, for Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyz Republic, to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) Meeting.
DPM/FM expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Philippine Government and the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) team for the gracious hospitality accorded to him and his delegation during their visit to Manila.
