ISLAMABAD, Jul 23 (APP):Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi on Thursday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Secretary General Ameer-ul-Azeem, terming his death as a great loss to the country’s political landscape.
In a condolence message, the minister extended his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
“May Almighty Allah grant Ameer-ul-Azeem the highest place in Jannah and bless the bereaved family with patience and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” Hanif Abbasi said.
The minister said Ameer-ul-Azeem was like a dear brother to him, adding that the news of his passing had deeply saddened him.
He paid tribute to the late leader, describing him as a wise, dignified and principled politician who rendered invaluable services to the country’s political, social and national causes.
Hanif Abbasi said the late Ameer-ul-Azeem’s contributions to national politics and public service would always be remembered with great respect and admiration.
He prayed that Allah Almighty grant the departed soul complete forgiveness, elevate his ranks in the Hereafter and bestow patience upon the bereaved family.
