Mauritius High Commissioner, Fahd Haroon discuss cooperation in digital media

ISLAMABAD, Jul 22 (APP): High Commissioner of Mauritius to Pakistan Munsoo Kurrimbaccus called on Minister of State/Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Digital Media Fahd Haroon at his office here on Wednesday to discuss cooperation in digital media and the evolving information landscape.

R.A.L. Sewtohul, Deputy Head of Mission at the High Commission of Mauritius, was also present at the meeting.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the rapidly changing digital media environment, its emerging challenges and opportunities, and matters of mutual interest related to digital platforms and the broader media and information ecosystem.

They also discussed developments in the digital media sector in both countries, shared best practices and explored avenues for enhanced bilateral cooperation in digital communication and media engagement.

Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration in emerging digital sectors to promote innovation, knowledge sharing and mutually beneficial partnerships.

The meeting reflected the friendly and cordial relations between Pakistan and Mauritius and reaffirmed the commitment of both countries to further enhancing bilateral understanding and cooperation in the field of digital media.
