A husband and wife were killed after a speeding cargo truck struck their motorcycle while attempting to overtake on the Heetu Khasor Road near Qureshian Wala area in Darya Khan, the Rescue 1122 sources said on Wednesday.

DARYA KHAN , Jul 22 (APP):A husband and wife were killed after a speeding cargo truck struck their motorcycle while attempting to overtake on the Heetu Khasor Road near Qureshian Wala area in Darya Khan, the Rescue 1122 sources said on Wednesday.
According to Rescue 1122, two ambulances were dispatched to the scene immediately after the accident. Both victims died at the scene, they added.
The deceased were identified as Muhammad Rafiq 50 years and his 48-year-old wife.
The Rescue sources said preliminary information indicated that the driver of the Shahzor cargo truck lost control while fastening his seat belt, causing the vehicle to collide with the motorcycle from behind.
