RAWALPINDI, Jul 21 (APP):Principal Rawalpindi Medical College Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khurram has been assigned the additional charge of the post of Vice Chancellor, Rawalpindi Medical University (RMU).
The administrative decision follows the completion of the tenure of the outgoing Vice Chancellor, ensuring continuity in the university’s academic governance, medical education programs, and institutional development initiatives.
The appointment was notified by the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department (SHC&ME).
“The Governor Punjab / Chancellor, in exercise of powers conferred upon him has been pleased to assign the additional charge of the post of Vice Chancellor, Rawalpindi Medical University (RMU), to Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khurram, Principal RMU”, reads the notification.
The appointment has been made for a period of three months or until the appointment of a regular incumbent.
