HYDERABAD, Jul 21 (APP):The district administration has fixed new prices for tandoori naan and chapatti, due to falling wheat and flour prices.
According to a notification issued on Tuesday, the order have been issued to sale 100 grams of chapati at Rs 15, 120 grams of tandoori naan at Rs 22 and 180 grams of tandoori naan at Rs 30 across the district.
The new prices will be implemented immediately in failure strict legal action will be taken against violators,
All tandoor owners will be required to display the price list at a prominent place.
Assistant Commissioners and Bureau of Supply and Prices directed to conduct surprise inspections and ensure implementation of the fixed weight and price, however in case of changes in the prices of wheat and flour, the prices of naan and chapati will also be reviewed
