1122 establishes water rescue camps near river, streams

SHANGLA, Jul 21 (APP): Emergency Rescue Service 1122 has established water rescue camps near streams and river to deal with any situation during floods.

The rescue workers have been provided with modern boats, life jackets and necessary gear to cope with any situation and save lives. Rescue teams have also started awareness creating campaigns to orient people living in proximity of river and streams.

People have been given information about preventive measures to be taken during rains and flooding. People have also been urged to avoid travelling during rain, follow speed limit and remain cautious while travelling in areas more prone to land sliding.

Meanwhile, 1122 teams have retrieved three vehicle that were fallen into ditches in Yakhnange, Shangla top and Baile baba due to rains.
