DPM Dar, Canadian FM Anand reaffirm commitment to mutually beneficial partnership

ISLAMABAD, Jul 20 (APP):Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister (DPM/FM), Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anita Anand on Monday reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the mutually beneficial partnership, and agreed to expand cooperation in priority sectors.
The deputy prime minister met with the Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs here, a DPM’s Office news release said.
The two sides reviewed recent developments in Pakistan–Canada bilateral relations and exchanged views on regional and international developments. They also decided to hold annual meetings to review progress on the agreed Joint Statement.
Later, the deputy prime minister hosted a banquet lunch in the honour of Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anita Anand which was attended by the federal ministers and senior officials from both sides.
