PU awards five PhD degrees

LAHORE, Jul 20 (APP): Punjab University (PU) has awarded PhD degrees to five scholars in various disciplines after approval of their theses.

University spokesperson said on Monday, the recipients include Fatima Arshad, daughter of Muhammad Arshad, who earned a PhD in Molecular Biology; Ghulam Shabbir, son of Nazir Ahmad, in Urdu; Shamim Akhter, daughter of Bashir Ahmed, in Punjabi; Madeeha Nazish, daughter of Shaukat Ali Rana, in High Energy Physics; and Iqra Liaqat, daughter of Liaqat Ali, also in High Energy Physics.
