Rupee gains 01 paisa against Dollar
ISLAMABAD, Jul 20 (APP): The Rupee on Monday appreciated by 01 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs 277.95, compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs 277.96.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 279 and Rs 279.20, respectively.
The price of the Euro against the rupee increased by 01 paisa and closed at Rs 317.99 from the previous day’s closing of Rs 317.98, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese Yen remained unchanged to close at Rs 1.71, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound witnessed an increase of Rs 0.45 and closed at Rs 374.41 compared to the previous day’s Rs 373.96.
The exchange rate of the Emirate Dirham surged by 01 paisa, while the Saudi Riyal stood stagnant, closing at Rs 75.68 and Rs 74.01, respectively.
