University of Balochistan advances academic quality, research and transparency

Vice Chancellor of the University of Balochistan, Professor Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Bazai, has said that the institution is taking practical steps to improve academic standards, ensure transparent financial systems, promote quality research, and strengthen effective governance.

QUETTA, Jul 20 (APP): Vice Chancellor of the University of Balochistan, Professor Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Bazai, has said that the institution is taking practical steps to improve academic standards, ensure transparent financial systems, promote quality research, and strengthen effective governance.
He expressed these views while presiding over the 99th Syndicate Meeting of the University of Balochistan. The meeting discussed in detail various academic, financial, and administrative matters.
The session was attended by Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Ghulam Razaq Shahwani, Registrar Gul Muhammad Kakar, Treasurer Khushhal Khan, Finance Department’s Dr. Mansoor Baloch, Additional Secretary Colleges and Higher & Technical Education Department Janzeb Khan Mandokhail, deans of different faculties, directors, syndicate members, and senior university officials.
During the meeting, minutes of the Academic Council, Finance and Planning Committee, Selection Boards, e-Office System, and various Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) were approved. Detailed discussions were also held on financial matters, faculty-related issues, teaching programs, policy reviews, and other institutional reforms.
In his address, Vice Chancellor Dr. Bazai praised the active role of syndicate members and reaffirmed his commitment to advancing the university in teaching, research, and innovation. He stressed that the university is determined to move forward on the path of academic excellence and institutional development.
Syndicate members assured full cooperation in promoting higher education and lauded the Vice Chancellor’s leadership and reform initiatives.
