Noreen Niazi’s anti-Pakistan remarks unacceptable, designed to please hostile media, says Barrister Danyal

RAWALPINDI, Jul 20 (APP): Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Barrister Danyal Chaudhry on Monday strongly condemned the anti-Pakistan statements made by Noreen Niazi, terming them unacceptable, unforgivable and contrary to national interests.

He was addressing a public rally led by Senior Provincial Minister Maryum Aurangzeb in Rawalpindi.

“Noreen Niazi is raising questions on Maarka-e-Haq simply to serve her brother’s political interests,” Barrister Danyal said, adding, “Her malicious remarks are being deliberately amplified by Indian media outlets to damage Pakistan’s image globally.”

Danyal said that the government would tolerate zero compromise on national security, state dignity, sovereignty and core national interests, asserting that any negative propaganda targeted against the country would be rejected outright.

“The politics of Noreen Niazi’s brother has been buried, his party is completely in disarray, and the KP government has failed miserably to deliver on public issues,” he said.

“Certain elements are trying to divert attention from their own political failures by defaming Pakistan, but the nation will never allow such designs to succeed,” he added.

Barrister Danyal highlighted that the entire nation stands completely united for the protection of Pakistan’s security, stability, and sovereignty, reiterating that the federal government will continue to strengthen national cohesion and thwart all forms of negative narratives.

The event was also attended by Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, Members of National Assembly (MNAs) Tahira Aurangzeb and Malik Abrar, alongside a large number of PML-N leaders, workers and citizens.
