Commissioner hears public grievances under Punjab’s open-door policy
CHICHAWATNI , Jul 20 (APP):The residents on Monday registered their complaints directly to Commissioner, Sahiwal, Dr. Asif Tufail under Punjab’s “Open Door Policy,” an initiative aimed at improving citizens’ access to government offices.
The policy, introduced in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, is intended to provide the public with unhindered access to officials and ensure prompt resolution of their issues.
According to officials, the commissioner meets citizens on a daily basis, listens to their complaints, and issues on-the-spot directions to relevant departments for immediate action.
The official said that practical measures were continuing to address public issues efficiently and improve service delivery across the division.
