A 15-year-old boy on Monday was killed after being hit by the Rawalpindi-bound Jaffar Express while walking along a railway track near Burhan area in Tehsil, Hasan Abdal , the rescue officials said.

HASSAN ABDAL , Jul 20 (APP): A 15-year-old boy on Monday was killed after being hit by the Rawalpindi-bound Jaffar Express while walking along a railway track near Burhan area in Tehsil, Hasan Abdal , the rescue officials said.

The victim, identified as Abdullah, son of Abdul Rehman, was walking near the railway line close to Mian Jee Hotel in the Burhan area when he was struck by the train. He died at the spot, they added.

The Rescue 1122 teams responded to the incident after receiving the alert and transferred the body to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Hasan Abdal .
