Acting on the directives of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the provincial administration has initiated measures to honor the sacrifices of martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty against terrorism in Ziarat district.
Immediate implementation of agreement between Balochistan government and protest committee

QUETTA, Jul 18 (APP): The Balochistan government has begun immediate implementation of the clauses agreed upon with the protest committee. Acting on the directives of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the provincial administration has initiated measures to honor the sacrifices of martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty against terrorism in Ziarat district.
As part of the agreement, government buildings, police stations, educational institutions, and health centers will be renamed after the martyrs.
The Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister has issued formal notifications to the Home Department, Education Department, and Health Department, directing them to complete the renaming process and secure approval from the competent authority.
According to the notifications, four police stations in Ziarat district will be renamed: Sarmaksi Police Station as “Shaheed Hasratullah Kakar Police Station,” Dosarka Shabozai Police Station as “Shaheed Jandad Khan Police Station,” Mangi Police Station as “Shaheed Zainullah Panezai Police Station,” and Zandra Police Station as “Shaheed Major Zaman Panezai Police Station.”
Similarly, under the Education Department, Government Boys High School Kan Depo will be renamed “Shaheed Constable Mustafa Khan Government Boys High School Kan Depo,” Government Girls Middle School Kan Depo as “Shaheed Constable Muhammad Asif Government Girls Middle School Kan Depo,” and Government Boys High School Kaos Gharbi as “Shaheed Constable Muhammad Usman Government Boys High School Kaos Gharbi.”
In the health sector, Rural Health Center Ahmedoon will be renamed “Shaheed Constable Azhar Ahmed Ahmed Damr Rural Health Center Ahmedoon,” while Basic Health Unit Kaos Gharbi will be renamed “Shaheed Fareedullah BHU Kaos Gharbi.”
Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti reaffirmed that the government is committed to fulfilling every clause of the agreement with the protest committee. He said that the martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the nation, the establishment of peace, and the protection of citizens, are the pride of the entire country.
Renaming government institutions after them is a meaningful effort to keep their sacrifices alive and to inspire future generations with their bravery and sense of duty.
The Chief Minister reiterated that the Balochistan government will continue to take all possible measures to honor the martyrs and support their families, ensuring dignity, welfare, and timely fulfillment of all commitments made under the agreement.
