SWCCI holds tax training workshop to strengthen women entrepreneurs

SARGODHA, Jul 16 (APP):The Sargodha Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SWCCI), in collaboration with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) on Thursday organized a one-day training workshop on taxation to enhance the knowledge and capacity of women entrepreneurs.
According to the SWCCI spokesperson here, the workshop focused on key areas of taxation, including Income Tax, Sales Tax and Withholding Tax, with the aim of equipping participants with practical knowledge of tax regulations, legal compliance and sound financial management practices for their businesses.
The event was attended by SWCCI’s leadership, executive body and members, including Acting President Sumaira Hurraira, Founder and Senior Vice President Sadia Khan, Founder and Executive Member Dr Humaira Azhar and other distinguished members of the chamber.
Members of the Sargodha Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) also participated in the workshop, reflecting the spirit of collaboration between the two business organizations in promoting entrepreneurship and professional development.
Speaking on the occasion, SWCCI representatives reaffirmed the chamber’s commitment to empowering women entrepreneurs through knowledge-based initiatives, professional training and capacity-building programs.
They also expressed gratitude to SMEDA for its technical support and expertise, as well as to all participants for contributing to the success of the workshop.
