Governor Mandokhel urges SBKWU to prioritize modern skills development for women’s empowerment

Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel directed the Vice Chancellor of Women’s University, Dr. Rubina Mushtaq, to pay special attention to modern skills development in line with the current requirements of the ever-changing world, along with quality education, so that our women could also contribute meaningfully to the economic and social progress and prosperity of the society. 

QUETTA, Jul 15 (APP): Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel directed the Vice Chancellor of Women’s University, Dr. Rubina Mushtaq, to pay special attention to modern skills development in line with the current requirements of the ever-changing world, along with quality education, so that our women could also contribute meaningfully to the economic and social progress and prosperity of the society.
He expressed these views while talking to the Vice Chancellor of SBKWU, who called on him at the Governor House.
The Governor said that the remarkable development of the first women’s university in the province is indeed a proud example of the courage, determination and change of half of our population.
He said that in view of the tremendous progress of the Women’s University, this higher educational institution is producing information technology experts, engineers, researchers, managers, teachers, entrepreneurs and policy makers.
The Governor mentioned that Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University would not just educate women but it is shaping the bright future of an educated and developed Balochistan.
Mandokhel said that although the ranking and scoring have improved significantly as a result of the excellent performance of Vice Chancellor Dr. Rubina Mushtaq and her team, there is still a lot to be done.
Jaffar Khan said that with much effort, the Women’s University has been put on the path of development and stability adding that we have overcome in the past two years is the result of our collective wisdom and teamwork, continuous struggle and intellectual guidance.

He said that today, not only are the Senate and Syndicate meetings being held at the Women’s University on time, but quality education and modern skills are progressing on both fronts, and this is a sign of pride and honor for our province.
