Railways employee dies mysteriously
KHANEWAL, Jul 14 (APP): A young man died under mysterious circumstances after being shifted between hospitals here on Tuesday.
Rescue 1122 said that Baqir Ali alias Sanwal, 20, an employee of the Carriage Department of Pakistan Railways, returned home late at night and his health condition deteriorated.
Upon receiving information, the rescue team shifted him to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital, where doctors referred him to Nishtar Hospital. He died during treatment there.
Police shifted the body back to DHQ hospital, but the family refused to allow autopsy.
The family appealed to the Deputy Commissioner to order an impartial inquiry into the circumstances surrounding Baqir Ali’s death.
