LAHORE, Jul 13 (APP):Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan on Monday inaugurated NADRA centers in two union councils of Attock district, Brahma Bahatar and Malal.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony, the Governor said provision of basic facilities including education to the people of the area is a priority, adding that another promise made to the people of Attock has been fulfilled. “Politics of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is based on public service”, he added.
The ceremony was attended by a large number of people of Attock and distinguished personalities, including the Director General NADRA.
Sardar Saleem Haider Khan thanked Chairman NADRA for approving four NADRA centers for the convenience of the people on his request.
The Punjab Governor said that now the people of Union Council Malal and Brahma Bahatar will not have to go to Fateh Jang to get their identity cards. He said that today he had fulfilled another promise made to the people of the area. He further said that there should be no politics on public welfare projects.
He thanked Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Chairman NADRA for the establishment of NADRA facilitation centers in two union councils.
The Punjab Governor said, in the coming days, NADRA office facilities will be available in all tehsils of Attock.
He said establishment of NADRA office will provide convenience to the poor, adding that poor people of Attock are suffering from many deprivations.
He said the University of Attock is also going to be established very soon for the people of the area.
The Governor said that the young boys and girls of Attock district will no longer have to travel far to get modern education.
He said politics has its place but no compromise can be made on public service projects.
