FAISALABAD, Jul 13 (APP):Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Imran Ahmed Malik held an open court at his office to hear public grievances and directed police officers to ensure resolution of complaints without delay for providing prompt and effective justice to the citizens.
According to police spokesman, the police from different parts of the district attended the open court and submitted applications highlighting various policing and public service issues directly before the SSP Operations.
After listening to the complainants, SSP Imran Ahmed Malik issued instructions to the relevant police officers to address each complaint within the stipulated timeframe and ensure that all cases were dealt with strictly in accordance with the law.
He said that provision of prompt and effective justice to the public is the foremost priority of Faisalabad police and every complaint would be examined on merit and resolved without unnecessary delay.
SSP Operations said that purpose of the open court was to provide direct access to senior police officers so that people could present their grievances without intermediaries and receive timely redress of their issues.
He made it clear that any injustice to citizens would not be tolerated under any circumstances. Any negligence in handling public complaints would invite strict action.
Faisalabad police were taking all possible measures to resolve issues faced by the public and improve service delivery through greater accountability, transparency and direct engagement with citizens, he added.
