ISLAMABAD, Jul 13 (APP):Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq visited the Red Zone along with senior police officers to review security arrangements amid heightened security measures in the federal capital.
An official told APP on Monday that the DIG Tariq met officers and personnel deployed at various security points and reviewed the overall security arrangements.
Tariq directed all officers to remain fully alert and perform their duties with professionalism, vigilance and a strong sense of responsibility.
DIG Tariq emphasized effective monitoring, strict checking and close coordination among deployed personnel to ensure foolproof security.
He instructed officers to maintain a high level of preparedness and respond promptly to any emergency situation.
