ABBOTTABAD, Jul 12 (APP): Ayub Medical Institution (AMI) on Sunday launched a tree plantation campaign aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and providing a greener, healthier atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff.
The campaign was formally inaugurated by Chairman of the Board of Governors, Professor Dr. Abid Jameel, who planted a sapling to mark the occasion.
Addressing the ceremony, Dr. Jameel highlighted the importance of trees in reducing pollution, combating the effects of climate change, and ensuring a greener Pakistan for future generations. He called upon hospital employees, students, and the public to actively participate in the plantation drive by planting more trees.
He said that, in addition to delivering quality healthcare services, maintaining a clean, green, and pleasant environment remained one of the institution’s key priorities. Under the campaign, a large number of saplings will be planted across different areas of the hospital to improve the environment for patients, attendants, and healthcare workers
