Man dies of electrocution

A 32-year-old youngster lost his life after being electrocuted near Faiz-e-Aam School at Chowk Shah Abbas in Multan on Sunday.

MULTAN, Jul 12 (APP): A 32-year-old youngster lost his life after being electrocuted near Faiz-e-Aam School at Chowk Shah Abbas in Multan on Sunday.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, two emergency response vehicles were dispatched immediately after the control room received information about the incident.
Rescue officials said the victim, identified as Muhammad Kashif, was passing through an area where sewage water had accumulated beneath a support wire attached to an electricity pole. The wire had become electrified, and he received a fatal electric shock, dying at the scene.
Rescue personnel promptly initiated cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in an effort to save his life, but he could not be revived.
The victim’s family declined to have the body shifted to a hospital.
As a precautionary measure, Rescue 1122 informed the MEPCO control room and completed rescue operation.
