ISLAMABAD, Jul 12 (APP): Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police’s Capital Patrol Unit (CPU) is maintaining round-the-clock patrols across the federal capital to ensure public safety and provide immediate assistance to citizens.
An official told APP on Sunday that the Capital Patrol Unit was effectively performing its duties under the supervision of Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Kainat Azhar Khan.
He said the unit remained actively deployed on major roads and highways to protect the lives and property of commuters through continuous patrolling and prompt response.
The official said the Capital Patrol Unit was ensuring timely assistance to citizens and responding swiftly to emergencies.
He said effective patrolling and rapid action were helping provide a safer travel environment across the capital.
The official added that the unit’s quick response service would further strengthen public confidence in Islamabad Police.
Citizens were advised to seek immediate assistance from the Capital Patrol Unit in case of any emergency while traveling on the city’s roads.
