Provincial Minister visits RMK Road, directs completion by August
LAHORE, Jul 12 (APP): Provincial Minister for Communications Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bharath visited the under-construction RMK Road and reviewed the ongoing construction work and quality of the project.
Officials briefed the minister that 60% of the more than 31-kilometer road project has been completed. Bharath directed authorities to complete the project by August, describing it as a key component of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s Murree Development Plan.
He said no compromise would be made on construction quality and instructed officials to ensure the project meets international standards while maintaining the pace of work.
During the visit, Secretary of the Department of Communications and Works (C&W) Raja Jahangir Anwar, Chief Engineer, Exxon and other concerned officers were also present with the provincial minister.
