Body recovered from drain, investigation initiated
LAHORE, Jul 12 (APP): The body of an unidentified person was recovered from a drain near Amir Road in Shadbagh area of the city.
According to rescue officials, upon receiving information, a rescue diving team reached the spot and pulled out the body from the drain.
Later, the police took the body into their custody and shifted it to the morgue for necessary legal action.
Police say that an investigation has been launched to identify the body and find out the cause of death, while further action will be taken in the light of the post-mortem report and evidence.
