300 litres of adulterated milk destroyed in DIKhan crackdown

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority (KPFSA) carried out an inspection of milk shops in the Tank Road Bypass area of Dera Ismail Khan as part of its ongoing campaign against the sale of adulterated milk.

Dera Ismail Khan, Jul 11 (APP): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority (KPFSA) carried out an inspection of milk shops in the Tank Road Bypass area of Dera Ismail Khan as part of its ongoing campaign against the sale of adulterated milk.
During the operation, the food safety team inspected various milk outlets and tested milk samples on the spot using a mobile food testing laboratory to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
According to the officials, legal action was taken against violators, including the imposition of fines for breaches of food safety regulations. Around 300 litres of adulterated milk were discarded on the spot to prevent its sale to consumers.
The official further said that one milk shop was sealed over serious violations of food safety laws, reaffirming its commitment to ensuring the availability of safe and hygienic food products for the public.
The KP Food Safety and Halal Food Authority urged milk sellers to strictly comply with food safety regulations, warning that strict legal action would continue against those found involved in adulteration or other violations.
