SIALKOT, Jul 11 (APP): The Department of Computer Science at Government College Women University Sialkot (GCWUS) held its Board of Studies meeting 2026 on Saturday to discuss academic matters and program development.
According to a university statement, the meeting was chaired by Chairperson of the Department of Computer Science, Dr. M. Usman Ashraf.
The statement said external members Dr. Fiaz Majeed and Dr. Azeem attended the meeting and shared recommendations and feedback aimed at strengthening the department’s academic programs.
Further added that Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof. Dr. Shazia Bashir and Dean Prof. Dr. Tariq Mahmood were acknowledged for their continued guidance and support in promoting academic excellence.
Faculty members also participated in the meeting and discussed measures related to academic improvement, innovation and future development.
