PESHAWAR, Jul 10 (APP): Provincial Law Minister Aftab Alam on Friday chaired a meeting in Peshawar to address issues related to the provision of land for the Kohat Chamber of Commerce and Industry building.
The meeting, attended by Provincial Information Minister Shafi Jan, MNA Shehryar Afridi, Special Assistant Humayun Khan, senior officials, and representatives of the Kohat Chamber, reviewed legal, administrative, and revenue hurdles in the land provision process.
Officials informed the meeting that the Kohat Chamber is the only active chamber serving the southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The participants also discussed the legal constraints regarding the transfer of government land to private institutions.
Affable Alam directed relevant departments to resolve all hurdles through coordination and complete legal formalities at the earliest.
He said the provincial government is committed to promoting industry, trade, and investment and providing facilities to the business community to boost economic activities and create employment opportunities.
