Balochistan govt announces compensation for Rs, 11 million each to families of policemen martyred in Ziarat
QUETTA, Jul 10 (APP):Assistant Chief Minister Balochistan for Information and Political Affairs Shahid Rind on Friday said that on special directive of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, release orders have been issued for the payment of compensation of Rs 11 million each to the families of the police personnel martyred in Ziarat.
He said that the payment of compensation to the families of all the martyrs at their doorsteps is being ensured so that immediate relief could be provided to the affected families.
Shahid Rind mentioned that on the special instructions of the Chief Minister, all administrative and financial proceedings for the payment of compensation have been completed at a very fast pace.
He stated that the government of Balochistan would bear the maintenance of the families of the martyrs, the welfare of the families and all the educational expenses of the children of the martyrs.
Rind said that financial compensation is no substitute for human lives, however, the Balochistan government stands with the families of the martyrs in this hour of difficulty and all possible cooperation would be continued in the future.
