An Additional and Sessions Court on Friday sentenced a drug pusher to 14 years imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs.400,000 after convicting him in a narcotics smuggling case.

SARGODHA, Jul 10 (APP):An Additional and Sessions Court on Friday sentenced a drug pusher to 14 years imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs.400,000 after convicting him in a narcotics smuggling case.
According to the prosecution,Factory Area police arrested the accused namely as Ghulam Muhammad and recovered 5.2 kilograms of charas from his possession during an operation.
Following the registration of a case,the investigating officer submitted the challan before the trial court.
After examining the evidence and hearing arguments from both sides, the court found the accused guilty and awarded him 14 years’ rigorous imprisonment along with a fine of Rs.400,000.
