CHINIOT, Jul 9 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan on Thursday carried out surprise inspections of health facilities in Chiniot, reviewing medical and administrative arrangements and directing officials to ensure quality, timely and uninterrupted healthcare services for patients.
Accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Wasiq Abbas Haral and Chief Executive Officer (Health) Dr Ahmed Khan, the deputy commissioner visited the Maryam Nawaz Health Clinics at Jhanb and Harsa Sheikh on Lahore Road. She inspected doctors’ and staff attendance, the availability of medicines, the functioning of medical equipment, cleanliness standards and the facilities being provided to patients.
During the visits, Ayesha Rizwan met patients to receive first-hand feedback on healthcare services and instructed the relevant officials to ensure effective implementation of the Punjab government’s directives for delivering quality medical care without interruption.
The deputy commissioner also reviewed progress on the under-construction building of the Maryam Nawaz Health Clinic at Harsa Sheikh and received a briefing from the Chief Executive Officer (Health). She directed the authorities to expedite construction so the facility could become operational at the earliest, reiterating that the provision of quality healthcare is a key priority of the Punjab government and that no negligence would be tolerated.
