SIALKOT, Jul 09 (APP): The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) organised a traffic safety workshop for Rescue 1122 officers and officials at the Central Rescue Station on Kutchehry Road to promote road safety and safe driving practices.
According to media representatives, the workshop was held on the special instructions of Superintendent of Police Imdadullah Shahid. Participants were briefed on traffic laws, safe motorcycle riding, mandatory helmet use, lane discipline, speed limits, traffic signals and precautionary measures for driving on highways and motorways.
Speaking on the occasion, Inspector Shehbaz said strict compliance with traffic laws was essential to prevent accidents and protect precious human lives. District Emergency Officer Engineer Naveed Iqbal said observance of traffic rules was indispensable for reducing road accidents and ensuring public safety.
At the end of the workshop, the participants pledged to follow traffic laws and help create awareness about safe driving and road safety among the public.
