Uzbek Foreign Minister hails Azerbaijani ambassador’s contribution to bilateral relations
BAKU, Jul 9 (AZERTAC/APP): Bakhtiyor Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, met with Azerbaijani Ambassador Huseyn Guliyev on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in the country.
During the meeting, Bakhtiyor Saidov expressed his sincere gratitude to the ambassador for his significant contribution to strengthening the strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
He noted that during his 14-year tenure in Uzbekistan, Huseyn Guliyev had earned deep respect as a worthy representative of Azerbaijan and the dean of the diplomatic corps. The foreign minister praised the ambassador’s role in advancing Uzbek–Azerbaijani cooperation and strengthening the traditional friendly and fraternal relations between the two peoples. Huseyn Guliyev was also honored with high state awards of Uzbekistan for his long and fruitful service.
Bakhtiyor Saidov thanked the ambassador for his dedicated service and wished him robust health and continued success.
